What is a C.H.E.K Practitioner?

The Corrective High-performance Exercise Kinesiologist (CHEK) Certification Program

The C.H.E.K certification program is designed to produce the finest and most highly trained exercise therapists and strength specialist in the world.

The C.H.E.K system is multidisciplinary and therefore Ben seeks to prioritise your efforts to the most important things first leading then onto a series of planned progression that are goal focused and in tune with your over all needs.

Ben will apply his extensive skills to best suit your needs as an individual, providing you with the necessary understandings as he is training you. He will efficiently and effectively isolate the areas where each client needs coaching, correcting and stabilisation before moving you on.

The C.H.E.K approach emphasizes assessments followed by personalised programs to ensure success at all levels.

A CHEK Assessment includes:

  • Core function testing
  • Functional movement analysis
  • Postural & muscle balance review
  • Flexibility & joint range of motion testing
  • Physiological load assessment
  • Nutrition & lifestyle review
  • Goal setting
  • Body composition analysis
  • Fitness testing

This allows Ben to design individualized exercise and lifestyle balancing programs. Your program will be as unique as your body, providing you with the greatest chance of reaching you goals. A program can only be as good as the assessments that it is based on. It doesn’t matter whether you are trying to lose a stone, drop your body fat by 10% or gain 5kg’s of muscle, your training program should be based around assessments and carefully planned out with goals and targets.
