As mentioned on the site yesterday Amanda van Eyk is the latest addition to the Chisel Fitness team.

As the Chisel Fitness Nutritional Advisor she will be adding regular articles to the site to help you achieve your training and fitness goals. Each day this week we will be publishing some of her basic tips for including healthy nutrition into your daily meal plans.

Chisel Gains as London Loses!!!!!

I mentioned last week that we would have some exciting news for our readers and it's finally time to break the silence. It comes in the form of a feel good story that will benefit every single Chisel Fitness reader!!

This week the school kids of East London will miss out on something that has been one of the highlights of their school week for the past 12 months.

Amanda van Eyk, and Australian Health and Physical Education teacher and nutritional expert, set up a cooking club in her East London school during her stay in the British capital.

Every Wednesday evening she would take a small group of students through a new exciting recipe, teaching them the basics of cooking whilst highlighting the importance of good nutrition. The students would then set up a stall at the school canteen each Thursday and promote their cuisine to fellow pupils.

Over time Amanda and her faithful kitchen hands were able to effect change on many of the teen's attitudes that at times were often stubborn and ignorant towards healthy eating.

But as the title of this blog explains, Amanda's time in London has now come to an end and readers of Chisel Fitness have gained an incredible advantage to help in the quest for a healthy lifestyle.

Chisel Fitness has managed to secure the expertise of Amanda as our Nutritional Advisor and she will be making regular contributions to the site as a new member of the Chisel Fitness Team.

So that all our readers can start to take advantage of Amanda's wealth of knowledge, we have asked her to write a new article for each day of the coming week. In her articles Amanda will outline some of her basic thoughts and ideas for including fresh nutritious food into your daily meal plan so that you can reach your fitness goals and life a healthy lifestyle.
