If you saw Gene over 5 years ago, a scrawny gangly teenager, you would’ve have never envisaged him ever being a personal trainer.
 
However since completing Bachelor of Exercise Science at Griffith University in 2007 and CIII & CIV Fitness in 2009 he couldn’t believe why he didn’t think of it sooner.
 
Naturally, Gene like all athletes, tried to make up for lost time participating in various sports, but his drive led him to Rugby League where he has played at a regional and semi professional level. Under the tutelage of Chisel Fitness’ very own Aaron Zimmerle, as an inspirational coach, Gene’s passion for training and fitness grew beyond his own expectations.
 
Gene’s has seen what physical activity and training can bring into the lives of an individual who embraces it. there are physical benefits but there are also emotional well being improvements. This is what motivates Gene to continually help others achieve dreams and goals with the fitness, health and well being.
 
Helping others with their fitness and training has continually reinforced his life long ambition of becoming a doctor, recently being accepted into the University of Queensland Postgraduate School of Medicine for 2011.
